The Military Order of the Devil Dogs is the Fun and Honor Society of the Marine Corps League.  The Order provides amusement and entertainment at gatherings of the League, and preserves and strengthens the principles and ideals of the League.

Pound 294 growls in January, April, July, and Sept.


Growl time is 1900 (7pm).


Growl locations vary.

Who Belongs

After a one year membership in the League, you may be asked to join the MODD.  Only those members who have shown a willingness to work for the Detachment are invited.

The Pound is the local level usually made up of members of different Marine Corps Leagues.

The Pack is the state level.

The Kennel is the National level.

Degrees

There are three degrees in the Order.

New members are Pups. After proving worthiness, a Pup advance to a Devil Dog.

The highest degree is Pedigree Devil Dog.

Each level is noted by a dog tag collar--black, red, and gold, respectively.
